Accessing a MHC Canvas Account

This article contains two sections:

• "Accessing a Canvas Account with MHC Credentials" for community members accessing Canvas using MHC credentials.
• "Accessing a Canvas Account with Five College Credentials" for community members accessing Canvas using Five College Consortium credentials.

Accessing a Canvas Account with MHC Credentials

1. First, use the URL to Mount Holyoke College’s (MHC) Canvas instance: https://mtholyoke.instructure.com/.
    
2. Select the MHC logo in the bottom right-hand corner:
   
   
    
3.  Sign in using your MHC username and password:
   
   
    
4. Authenticate your identity using Duo when prompted:

Upon successful authentication, you will arrive at your Canvas Dashboard.

Accessing a Canvas Account with Five College Credentials

1. To log in, navigate to the Mount Holyoke College Canvas instance: https://mtholyoke.instructure.com/.
    
2. Select your home institution’s logo from the sign in portal pictured below:
   
   
    
3. Enter your username (your username is the text before the @ sign in your institution’s email address) and password (the same one you use for email).  An example screen from UMass Amherst is featured below:
   
   
    
4. You should now be logged in! Upon successful authentication, you will arrive at your Canvas Dashboard.
