Requirements In Canvas

When a requirement is added to a module, it designates that participants must complete the defined requirements within the module before the module will be marked complete. Requirements must be attached to module content items (such as assignments, pages, etc.).

Requirements may be organized to complete in any order, or in a sequence. A requirement that participants move through module items sequentially correlates with the order items are listed on the modules page.

  1. To add a requirement, click the “Modules” link in Course Navigation and locate the name of the module. Click the “Options” icon and select the “Edit” link.
