How to register a MHC Kurzweil account, access Kurzwiel 3000 Cloud Library, and download Read the Web extension.

Kurzweil 3000

Kurzweil 3000 is a web-based learning software built with a comprehensive reading, writing and learning solution for reading disabilities.

Register an Account

1. Navigate to User Self Registration
2. Fill in 
   1. First Name
   2. Last Name
   3. Email (Must be MHC email)
   4. Select Mount Holyoke College from the drop down for School/Org
   5. External ID should be left blank
3. Click Add New
4. You will receive an email from Kurzweil with your assigned user name and password. Follow the steps in the email to update your password.

User name and password is the same across all Kurzweil accounts, and can be used for the cloud library and browser extensions.

Kurzweil 3000 Cloud Library

Access the web based Kurzweil3000.com from any supported device/browser with internet access. Kurzweil 3000's cloud library is ideal for reading documents.

1. Navigate to https://www.kurzweil3000.com/KLogin.php to log in
2. Upload documents directly or connect a Google Drive

Read the Web for Chrome

Kurzweil offers a browser extension to read web pages and capture images of text that can be read in the cloud library. To download the Chome extension navigate to Read the Web for Chrome.

Read the Web for Microsoft Edge

Kurzweil offers a browser extension to read web pages and capture images of text that can be read in the cloud library. To download the Edge extension navigate to Read the Web for Edge.
