Overview
Categories of paid time off that were called "Paid Leave" in my.mtholyoke are called "Absence" in Workday. This article describes the process for viewing the amount of sick and personal absence you have used.
Steps
View personal and sick time used as of today's date
- From the Global Navigation menu on your Home screen, click the Absence app.
- On the card on the right side of the screen, click the button labeled Absence Balance
- A dialogue box will appear. Leave today's date in the "As Of" box. Click OK
- You will see a table with details of your estimated absence balances, as of day
- In the Column labeled Absence Paid Year to Date, click the blue number
- Note: If you have not used any sick or personal time in the current year, a 0 will display and you cannot click on it
- A pop up window will appear. In the column "Paid Year to Date" you can view the number of hours of personal and sick time you have used
- Tip 1: You can move the pop up window around by clicking and dragging the six dots in the top center
- Tip 2: You can expand the pop up window by clicking and dragging the two diagonal lines in the lower right corner
- Note: Personal leave used prior to April 1, 2024 will not appear in Workday. Calculations for all sick and personal leave used on or after April 1, 2024 is correct in Workday.
