Body
Instructions for connecting to the guest WiFi network MHC-Public.
Overview
Follow the instructions below to connect to the guest WiFi network MHC-Public.
MHC-Public is not available to current students, faculty, and staff members. Devices that have previously connected to eduroam will be unable to connect to MHC-Public. Current MHC community members should
use eduroam instead. Alums and others who are no longer active MHC students, faculty, and staff may encounter challenges if using devices that have previously connected to MHC's eduroam. For support,
get guest WiFi help.
Steps
- Open Wifi/Network Preferences on your computer or mobile device
- Select MHC-Public
- If your device doesn't automatically bring you to the MHC-Public login page (screenshot below), open a browser window and you should be redirected there
- Check the box to agree to the terms and conditions
- Select login to connect
Troubleshooting
- If you have trouble getting the login page to display, try opening a different browser.
- Current MHC students, faculty and staff who attempt to connect to MHC-Public will land on a page that reads "You are seeing this web page because you have previously connected to the SSID eduroam and are now trying to connect to the guest network (SSID: MHC-Public)." Connect to eduroam instead.
- Alums and others who are no longer current MHC students, faculty, or staff members who land on page that reads "You are seeing this web page because you have previously connected to the SSID eduroam and are now trying to connect to the guest network (SSID: MHC-Public)" should create a ticket to get guest WiFi help.
