Update your employee tax profile

Steps

View or change withholding elections

  • From the Workday home screen, click the Global Navigation Menu in the top left to open the Workday Apps sidebar.
  • Click the Pay app, represented by a small image of a wallet.
  • On the next screen, select the button that says Withholding Elections.
  • On the next screen, click on each tab—Federal Elections, State Elections, Local Elections, and Tax Allocations—to view your current withholding choices

  • To make changes, click the Update button at the bottom of each page. (Each tab has its own Update button)
  • A dialogue box will appear, with fields that vary based on the tax form you have selected. The fields include:
    • Worker: Name is pre-filled and not editable
    • Company: Always select "Trustees of Mount Holyoke"
    • State: Pre-filled with the working state of Massachusetts. Update if applicable. 
    • Effective Date: pre-fileld with today’s date. You may change this to reflect the date you wish the changes to go into effect
    • Click OK 
  • A digital version of the selected tax form will appear. Make your changes, then click the small box next to "I Agree" at the bottom of the page. This is your digital signature.
  • Click OK to save your changes 

 

View tax documents and edit printing elections

  • From the Workday home screen, click the Global Navigation Menu in the top left to open the Workday Apps sidebar.
  • Click the Pay app, represented by a small image of a wallet.
  • Under View, click the button labeled My Tax Documents.
    • Note: You may need to click "More" to reveal this link.
  • On the My Tax Documents screen, any tax documents, including your W-2, will be listed below the "Tax Forms Printing Elections" heading.
  • You may edit your choice for receiving printed or electronic tax documents. Click the Edit button on this screen to make changes. Click OK to save your changes.
