View absence (paid leave) balances in Workday

Overview

Categories of paid time off that were called "Paid Leave" in my.mtholyoke are called "Absence" in Workday. This article describes the process for reviewing your current absence balance, and estimating future accruals. 

Steps

View absence balance as of today's date

  • From the Global Navigation menu on your Home screen, click the Absence app.
  • Your "Available Balance as of Today" is displayed at the bottom of the screen.

Estimate future absence balances

  • From the Global Navigation menu on your Home screen, click the Absence app.
  • On the card on the right side of the screen, click the button labeled Absence Balance 
  • A dialogue box will appear. Choose the date you want to see the balance as of. Click OK
  • You will see a table with details of your estimated absence balances, as of the date you selected
