Overview
When an MHC employee lives on campus with their family, family members receive MHC Accounts to enable them to access their residence and the internet.
Who gets them?
Family members of MHC faculty and staff who live on the MHC campus
What's included?
These users will be provided with an MHC Account username and password that offers limited access to campus resources.
Standard access includes:
- eduroam WiFi
- limited OneCard access to campus buildings (including the user's building of residence if applicable)
As local residents, these users may also access LITS services available to campus visitors.
Account Life-cycle
Creation & first access
The account will be created once the person has been added as a "Family Members In Campus Housing"-type contingent worker in Workday. A "New Account Letter" with MHC Account details and account setup instructions will go to the MHC employee listed as the person's "supervisor" in Workday.
Deactivation
When the associated employee departs the College, dependent family members' MHC Accounts are deactivated and access is ended.
