What is it?
LITS can provide and help manage Linux servers for uses such as:
- Specialty courseware like computational tools and open-source textbooks
- Research computing tools like data storage/analysis and lab notebooks
- Development platforms for web and application software
If you have a web-based or server-based application or tool that you would like to run for your research or teaching, this service is for you!
Who can use it?
MHC faculty and instructional staff
How do I get it?
Use the "Request virtual Linux server consultation" button on this page to request a consultation with Academic Technologies to get started.
Servers require a couple weeks of lead time before they can be created, especially before Fall semester. Please schedule your consultation with Academic Technologies early enough to meet your deadlines.
Hours/Availability
Servers will be available 24/7 except occasional maintenance windows.
Support is available during regular business hours when the College is open.
