Educational Technology class visits

What is it?

Our instructional technologists collaborate with faculty on the implementation of a wide range of applications, equipment, and platforms into course learning goals and activities. Class visits are an essential component of the services we offer, such as:

  • Collaborative technology-based assignment design
  • Technology recommendations based on learning goals
  • Instruction on supported software tools, especially core technologies
  • Investigation of emerging technologies for teaching and research
  • And consultation and support for student projects in non-traditional formats

Who can use it?

Mount Holyoke faculty and instructional staff

How do I get it?

Contact the Ed Tech team via e-mail to begin a discussion of your goals and we will determine together how best to bring a technologist to visit your class. You can also book an appointment to start the conversation.

Hours/Availability

Class visits are available during regular business hours when the College is open. Additional times may be available as staff schedules permit.

Preparing for class visits requires sufficient advance notice (generally more than a week) and is subject to staff availability.
