Body

Overview

Follow these instructions to send print jobs and release them from campus MFDs.

Steps

  1. Send a print job to the print queue of your choice
    • From computers in the Information Commons, send print jobs to LITS-LabMFDs
    • Students who want to print to a public MFD from their own computers should send print jobs to LITS-Public-Cloud
    • Faculty/staff who want to print to a departmental MFD should send jobs directly to that MFD (in which case they'll just print immediately) or to LITS-FacStaff-Cloud (and then you'll need to release the job)
    • Student workers printing on behalf of their department should follow these instructions
  2. Go to the MFD

  3. Log into your PaperCut account
    • People with MHC OneCards: Tap and HOLD your MHC OneCard against the black card reader until the machine beeps THREE times and your account is pulled up on the screen
    • Guests: Enter your PaperCut guest account username and password
  1. Select the print job(s) you want to release and choose print
