What is it?
MHC has a process for submitting all IT administrative systems and data-related project proposals. This ensures that proposed projects align with the College’s strategic goals, prioritize resources effectively, and improve project success rates.
The intake process for IT administrative systems projects involves a thorough review of each proposal by the IT Governance Committee. Proposals are evaluated based on several criteria, including strategic alignment, resource availability, and risk management. Following this evaluation, proposals are approved and prioritized, or declined.
For Data Standards and Data Security requests, the intake process routes requested changes to the Data Standards or Security committee, as appropriate, for their review and response.
The membership of the Project Summit IT and Data Governance Committee can be found on the Project Summit website: Project Summit Project Site/Project Roles. The IT and Data Governance Committees have been combined with the Project Steering Committee into a single body for all governance during Project Summit.
