The Canvas Calendar

The Canvas Calendar can be accessed in the Global Navigation Menu. As an instructor, you can add assignments and course events to the calendar.

The sidebar on the right side of the screen identifies your courses. Each course is assigned a specific color that correlates with the entries displayed in the main calendar view:

Calendar Views:

  • Month View: By default, the calendar displays in a month format.
  • Course Limit: The first 10 course calendars are selected by default and will appear in the view. You can toggle specific courses on or off by clicking the color box next to the course name in the sidebar.
