The Canvas SpeedGrader

The SpeedGrader allows instructors to view and grade aggregated student assignment submissions in one place using a simple point scale or complex rubric. 

There are multiple access points for the SpeedGrader. Below are images of two main paths to access the SpeedGrader for a given assignment. Two main routes are detailed below.

  • To access the SpeedGrader through the Gradebook, click on a cell associated with a course participant to launch the the Grade Detail Tray, which includes a link to the SpeedGrader:

  • Alternatively, access the SpeedGrader through the Assignments page:
