You have numerous options for the tools you make use of in your Canvas course. Some of these are part of the core Canvas offering, and others are integrations added for additional functionality by the Ed Tech team. See the list below for details on the tools that are currently available.

  • Namecoach - Record the correct pronunciation of your name, or listen to name recordings from other class members
  • PollEverywhere - A tool for creating live polls and recording responses from students.
  • Gradescope - A tool for accepting handwritten assignments, or using robust rubrics with numerous different assignment types. Highly useful in courses with many students, as it makes grading (especially grading with multiple graders) very efficient.
