How to resolve print jobs not showing up at the MFD when using Mobility Print on a Windows computer

Issue

Some Windows users can encounter an issue where the print jobs they send using Mobility Print don't arrive at the MFD when they tap their card to release the print job. 

 

Resolution

1. Clear your print queue

  1. Search for Printers & Scanners in your Start menu and open the Printers & Scanners settings pagescreenshot of the printers and scanners settings when searching in the start menu
     
  2. Select the LITS-Public-Cloud printer
  3. Select Open print queuescreenshot of where in the settings to open a printer's print queue
     
  4. Ensure that there is NOTHING in your print queue
  5. To delete pending jobs, select the vertical three dot menu > Cancel allscreenshot of the menu to cancel existing jobs

 

2. Delete Mobility Print queues from your printers

  1. Go back to the Printers & Scanners settings page
  2. Select LITS-Public-Cloud and choose Remove, then repeat for any additional Mobility Print cloud queues (like if you have LITS-Public-Cloud there multiple times)

 

3. Adjust port settings

  1. Go back to the Printers & Scanners settings page
  2. Scroll down to Print server properties under Related settingsscreenshot of how to find the printer properties in the printer settings menu
     
  3. Navigate to the Ports tab
  4. Select and delete any ports named "https://print.mtholyoke.edu"screenshot of the port tab and deleting a port

 

4. Reinstall Mobility Print
