How to resolve "Bad Request" when visiting a webpage

Issue

When you attempt to go to a webpage on your browser, you get a message that says "Bad Request." This message can look different on different web browsers.

What does "Bad Request" mean?

The HyperText Transfer Protocol (HTTP) 400 Bad Request response status code indicates that the server cannot or will not process the request due to something that is perceived to be a client error (for example, malformed request syntax, invalid request message framing, or deceptive request routing).

In other words, you are trying to access a website by sending a request to the website’s server. The server can’t recognize and process your request – thus, it returns the “400 Bad Request” status code.
