What is it?
Stata is a general-purpose statistical software package developed by StataCorp for data manipulation, visualization, statistics, and automated reporting.
The software is available on select MHC computer lab machines and can be requested for use on personally-owned computers and individually assigned College-owned computers for one year at a time.

How do I get it?
Get STATA on a computer where you're an administrator
- Choose the "Request STATA" button on this page and fill out the form
Please note that software licenses on personal computers are limited to 1 year terms after which you must request a renewal.
Find STATA in campus computer labs
Request STATA be installed on an MHC-owned computer where you don't have admin privileges:
Hours/Availability
- Available on lab computers when labs are open
- Available 24/7 on your personal devices once installed
- Requests for new installs and renewals are processed during regular business hours when the College is open
