For 2026, the training launches January 20th and must be completed by March 27, 2026.
What is it?
Each year Mount Holyoke College requires faculty and staff to complete a Cybersecurity Awareness Training program offered through the SANS Institute.
The base program is designed to comply with the College's data classification policy and data handling procedures and covers data security practices at an institutional and personal level. There are additional mandatory modules for MHC faculty and employees in Human Resources, Finance, College Relations, Health & Counseling Services, the Registrar’s Office, and Admissions.
College leadership supports this initiative and expects all faculty and staff to complete the training. Supervisors will be able to track their team’s training completion.
Starting in 2026, the training is hosted and available to employees in Workday Learning.
