Listed here are the specifications of the systems LITS considers to be base models when fulfilling computer requests. Standards evolve frequently, and our current specifications may not reflect this list exactly, but they will meet or exceed these specifications.

LITS provides computers to MHC faculty and staff to support the academic, research, and administrative work of the College.
LITS funds one primary employee-assigned computer per employee when computer usage is required as part of a position's job responsibilities. Extra computers are procured and supported by LITS but must be purchased with department, grant, or research funds.
Departments often need shared office computers to be used at their front desk or by student workers.
