How to update Zoom

Overview

Use these instructions to update your MHC Zoom client to ensure smooth meetings.

Updating Zoom to the latest version

On Windows & macOS

1. Sign in to Zoom desktop client.
2. Select your profile picture, then select Check for Updates.
3. If there is a newer version, Zoom will download and install it.
4. After the install has finished, please restart your computer.

Best Practices during a Zoom call

1. It is considered good practice while in a Zoom session to refrain from heavy web browsing or downloading.
2. Remember to close any extraneous applications or browser tabs to preserve both bandwidth and computing resources.
