Use these instructions to connect to a Kyocera printer.
From the start menu, type \\print and press Enter.
A new window will pop up, scroll through the printer drivers until you find your printer (ex. li229-kp). If you don't know the name of the printer, check the printer for a label. This list of printer drivers contains drivers for both the Kyoceras and MFDs, so make sure you know the correct printer name you're trying to add.
Double-click on the printer name and it will install the new driver.
When you see a small pop-up window with a print queue appear, you’re all set!
Optional: To check that your new printer is working, from the pop-up window select Printer → Properties → Print Test Page
Open System Settings...
Scroll to the bottom of the menu located on the left side and select Printers and Scanners.
Select Add Printer, Scanner, or Fax... to add a printer. You may need to choose the lock icon and enter your computer login credentials to make any changes.
Select the IP tab at the top of the window that pops up. It's the tab that looks like a globe. If you right-click on the tab you can select Icon and Text to show the labels of each icon.

Select Add to finish the printer installation.
Remember to delete any old printers from your list of printers using the - button and you’re all set! You should now be able to print from the Kyocera printer you've installed. If you run into an issue, contact the LITS Technology Help Desk, provide the name of the printer you're trying to install, and ask them to look up its model.
