What is it?
LITS provides access to a dedicated browser-based RStudio server that can be reached at rstudio.mtholyoke.edu.
Accessing RStudio in your browser:
Users are required to be connected to either eduroam (if on campus) or the MHC VPN (if off-campus) in order to access the RStudio server. Logging in requires your MHC credentials and requires Duo multi-factor authentication (MFA).
We offer RStudio server support in the forms of:
- Troubleshooting assistance
- Global installation of packages needed for coursework in the MHC server
We also offer instructional support and individual appointments through our Educational Technology team. Instructors can schedule for an instructional technologist to come into the classroom to assist students with RStudio access, provide live troubleshooting during classwork that utilizes RStudio, or lead lessons/demonstrations. Students are welcome to schedule individual appointments for support with R/RStudio for academic purposes as well as troubleshooting help.

How do I get it?
- For issues with the MHC RStudio server or to request a package be globally installed in the server, use the R/RStudio Help form.

Requests will be processed during regular business hours when the College is open.
