Return IT equipment to LITS

What is it?

There are many reasons that you may be returning IT equipment to LITS, including but not limited to:

  • returning employee-assigned devices upon employee departure
  • returning out-dated computers
  • e-cycling old department equipment
  • returning short term media and technology equipment loans from the Circulation Desk and/or Media Services

Who can use it?

  • MHC faculty and staff
  • Anyone who's borrowed media or tech equipment from the Circulation Desk or Media Services

How do I return IT equipment to LITS?

Computers that were assigned directly to employees or were set up as departmental machines should be returned to the Technology Help Desk

  • Laptops and other portable tech equipment can be dropped off at the Technology Help Desk. Remember to bring any related chargers!
  • Desktop computers and other large/bulky computer equipment can be picked up if requested ahead of time.
  • Remote employees are expected to ship MHC-provided equipment back to LITS.

Short term media and tech equipment loans from the Circulation Desk and Media Services should be returned to the service desk where they were originally checked out.
