Google Gemini

Gemini can only see what the user permits it to access within Google Drive and only if the user has enabled those permissions for Gemini.

Users should be explicit in prompting Gemini to use data appropriate to the request. Gemini relies on the user’s assigned Google Drive permissions (files/shared drives).  Gemini is approved for use with confidential, internal and public data as defined in the College’s data classification policy.

Note: Files shared with collaborators via Google Drive will be available for Gemini use by collaborators. Never store, share or use Gemini with restricted data as defined in the College’s data classification policy.
