SPAM emails, also referred to as junk emails, are unsolicited messages sent in bulk by email.
Overview
Use these instructions to report SPAM when you see it in your MHC email inbox. If you are ever unsure if you should mark an email as SPAM, please reach out to the Technology Help Desk.
Steps
Reporting SPAM
- Log into your MHC email account via a web browser (like Chrome or Firefox)
- Select the email you want to mark as spam by checking the checkbox to the left of the star icon.
- Select the Report Spam button. It looks like a stop sign with an exclamation point in the middle.
- Reporting spam will help reduce everyone's spam messaging by improving the mail system's spam filters.
- Google has powerful SPAM filters, you can review what they categorize as SPAM by clicking on the SPAM label in the navigation on the left of your inbox.
