What is it?
LITS has more than 800,000 physical books in the MHC library, as well as DVDs, journals, CDs, music scores, photographs, rare books, manuscript materials, student theses and much much more.
We also have access to many thousands of ebooks, articles and streaming video online.
Access to library materials is free. If we don't have something, we can usually get it for you (still for free!) via InterLibrary loan.

Additionally, we also provide access to more than 10 million physical volumes in the Five Colleges. Choose Request item from where you've found it in Discover and Five College items will be delivered to MHC for pickup within two weekdays. You can even request MHC items. All items will be held for pickup at the Circulation Desk for seven business days.
Who can use it?
All Mount Holyoke College community members have library borrowing privileges. This includes current students, current faculty, emeriti faculty and College staff.
In addition, Mount Holyoke College alums, South Hadley, Holyoke, Granby and Chicopee MA residents, Simmons West students and Five College students, faculty and staff may also borrow from the Mount Holyoke College library.
