Account Life-cycle

Creation & first access

New graduate students first receive access to their MHC account via an email from the PaGE office ahead of their first course term at the College.

Graduate students who attended MHC for undergraduate studies continue using their existing MHC account.

Deactivation

When PaGE students graduate with a degree and become alums of the College, they retain access to their MHC Google accounts, but not the other services listed above. For more, see the related article about MHC Accounts for alums.

Non-degree seeking PaGE student accounts are deactivated 6 months after the completion of their course, unless they are enrolled in another future course.

When the account is deactivated:

  • They can no longer log in and access MHC systems
  • Email, documents, calendars, and other data in Google aren't deleted
  • Shared documents in their Google Drive “My Drive” are still accessible to collaborators for now
  • New email messages and calendar invitations are blocked

Deletion

Non-degree seeking PaGE students' MHC accounts and all of the associated account data will be deleted one year after the end date of their last course/workshop
