How to manage devices for Duo multi-factor authentication

Overview

There are several reasons you may need to manage your Duo devices.

This article outlines instructions for what to do in each case.

Using a Duo Bypass code to manage your devices

If you are having trouble authenticating with your MHC Duo account, you may need a Duo Bypass code to get into your Duo account and fix your devices. You can request one from the LITS Technology Help Desk using the MHC Account access support service. This article has step-by-step instructions for what to do once you have the Bypass code.

Steps

  1. Go to duo.mtholyoke.edu
  2. Log in with your MHC Account username and password
  3. Instead of choosing the Bypass code option here, please select Other options, then Manage devices
