How to reset your MHC voicemail password

Need to reset your MHC voicemail password? There are a few different ways to reset it yourself.

If none of the options below works for you, please submit a voicemail password reset request on the Voicemail support service page to have LITS reset your voicemail password for you.

In the Avaya self-administration portal

For these instructions, you need to be able to log into the Avaya self-administration portal. You don't need to know your current MHC voicemail password.

1. Go to the Avaya Self-Administration portal

2. Log in with your phone username (usually the same as your MHC username) and your Avaya Self-Administration password (the password you use to log into the Avaya softphone application)

3. On the Profile page, find Voicemail Code

4. Enter a new 6-digit+ voicemail password

5. Choose Save

On your campus telephone

For these instructions, you need to know your current MHC voicemail password.

1. On your campus telephone select the envelope button

2. Enter your current MHC voicemail password

3. Select Passcode

4. Enter your current MHC voicemail password again

5. Enter a new voicemail password

6. Choose Save
