Instructions for new members of the MHC Community getting set up with their MHC Account for the first time.

Haven't gotten your MHC Account username and initial password yet? Review our articles about MHC Account life-cycles and access for undergraduate students, faculty, staff, and other groups for more info.
2. Set up MHC Google + Email*

Reach out to the LITS Technology Help Desk if you aren't sure about what your MHC Account includes.
3. Complete Account Setup

Upload your
OneCard ID photo
|
For faculty/staff, this step can only be completed once our central administrative system lists you as an active employee. This usually occurs on your first day of work, but can sometimes lag by a day.
Affiliates/contingent workers who won't be on campus may not receive a OneCard account. If you aren't sure whether you should have a OneCard, please contact the LITS Technology Help Desk.
Auditors are welcome to upload a photo, but can also just drop by the LITS Technology Help Desk in person with photo ID to have a photo taken when we print out your OneCard.

Confirm your
recovery email address
|
Five College students can disregard this step. Your recovery email address is automatically set to your home institution email address (ex. email@smith.edu).
Auditors can also disregard this step. Your recovery email address is automatically set to the email address that you provide to the Registrar's Office.

Share Chosen name and/or
nickname and pronouns

Auditors can disregard this step. MHC systems use whichever name you provided to the Registrar's Office.
